I don't think I've met a programmer that was "mentored". Just google everything, go through every youtube tutorial that seems relevant and when google turns up dry ask a forum or discord how to do whatever it is your stuck on. I'm on year 15 of coding I still do this all the time.

Thanks for the advice! You might be right about this one, I think I may have to walk the long path to earn my stripes for this. I'll keep up my research and practice, but it sure would be nice to have someone experienced I could contact when I get stuck.
